St Mary’s Parish Centre
We have the following rooms that may be hired by community groups, businesses or individuals:
- The Main Hall (Hall 1 & 2 combined)
- Hall 1
- Hall 2
- The Upper Room
We will be happy to talk through your plans for your event, let you know about availability and give you a quote.
Please note that Bouncy Castles or similar inflatables are not allowed in any of the halls.
Improvements to our Parish Centre were undertaken in 2024, by Overton Architects and Teale Builders with funding from a generous legacy and substantial grants awarded by FCC Communities Foundation – Landfill Communities Fund, Garfield Weston Foundation and Leeds Church Extension Society.
Upper Room
The Upper Room is a smaller multi-purpose room ideal for meetings, small classes, or one-to-one sessions. A huge picture window forms one wall, with views over the churchyard.
Pricing: £20 per hour
Key Features
- 12 padded chairs with 2 low tables (more on request).
- 55” TV screen for presentations and videos.
- Dimmable lighting.
- Kitchenette, suitable for serving food and drinks, but not food preparation.
NB The Upper Room is on the first floor, accessible only via stairs, with a hand rail. It has no disabled access and must only be booked for groups where it is known that everyone can safely use the stairs.
Hall 1
A large section of our Main Hall with vaulted ceiling and huge picture window, providing a flexible space suitable for a whole range of events.
Pricing: £15 per hour
Key Features
- Flexible ‘L-shaped’ space with multiple layout options.
- Floor area suitable for dancing, games, buffet tables or more.
- Access to the kitchen, with facilities for the service of food and making of tea and coffee.
- Use of the courtyard with level access available directly from the Hall.
- 65” TV screen for presentations and videos (on request).
- Superfast fibre wifi.
- Dimmable lighting.

Hall 2
A smaller section of our Main Hall providing a cosy space for groups or meetings, with a serving hatch from our kitchen.
Pricing: £15 per hour

- Flexible space can be laid out as a meeting room, group or café style.
- Access to the kitchen, with facilities for the service of food and making of tea and coffee.
- Serving hatch direct from kitchen to the hall.
- Use of the patio with level access available directly from the Hall (during day-time only).
- 65” TV screen for presentations and videos.
- Sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
- Superfast fibre wifi.

Main Hall
Our Main Hall is a large, flexible space with vaulted ceiling and huge picture window, suitable for a whole range of events.
Pricing: £20 per hour

- Large, flexible ‘L-shaped’ space with multiple layout options.
- Floor area suitable for dancing, games, inflatables, buffet tables or more.
- Access to the kitchen, with facilities for the service of food and making of tea and coffee.
- Serving hatch direct from kitchen to the hall.
- Use of two outdoor spaces, both with level access available directly from the Hall: the courtyard and patio. (The patio may only be used in day-time).
- 65” TV screen for presentations and videos.
- Sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
- Superfast fibre wifi.
- Dimmable lighting.

This furniture can be placed where you wish within the space, providing it does not block fire escapes.
